Patrice Bertrand’s resilience was forged early, rooted in a deep admiration for her mother’s strength. Her defining moment came at age 15, when she realized that despite battling schizophrenia, her mother not only kept a roof over their heads but continued to help neighbors in need. Inspired by this legacy of compassion, Patrice met life’s heaviest challenges with honor rather than self-pity. By age 19, she was a single mother who had taken full custody of her 11-year-old brother, and later, she navigated a divorce while raising three children. Through it all, she never questioned her faith or her path, understanding that her struggles were preparing her for a greater destiny.

That destiny is now realized through Morecomputing Learning Services, Inc., where Patrice has turned her 18 years of corporate IT experience into a vehicle for social change. She is unstoppable because she is committed to reaching those often left behind, specifically training incarcerated women and adults in the community with essential digital literacy skills. By equipping her students to become self-sufficient in today’s workforce, Patrice ensures that her company does more than teach technology—it provides a bridge to second chances, proving to her students that nothing can stop them from achieving their goals.
