"I am purpose-driven. I want to live my mission. But sometimes I am stopped — by fear, by doubt, by distractions, by the swirl of life. I need something deeper than inspiration. I need clarity I can walk in."
If that sounds familiar — you are not alone. This is why Everyday Courage exists — and why we must start here: Owning your mission is not about doing more. It is about living aligned with what matters most — and honoring the calling placed in your hands.
What does it mean to OWN your mission?
Own means:
→You stop waiting for someone to give you permission.
→ You stop apologizing for what matters to you.
→ You stop outsourcing your decisions about where your time, energy, and focus go.
It does NOT mean:
→ You do everything perfectly.
→ You "arrive" at some mythical point of readiness.
→ You suddenly have no fear.
It is this simple:
When you own something, you steward it — imperfectly, consistently, faithfully.
👉 Small practice: What do I need to stop waiting for permission on right now?
What does it mean to have a MISSION?
A Mission is not one grand career move or public calling.
Mission is:
→ What has God placed in your hands right now?
→ Who are you called to serve, lead, love, build with, speak life into?
→ What are the core values and work you are meant to walk out in this season?
Your mission may shift in form. But its heart stays clear:
You are called to live in alignment with what God has entrusted to you — not in reaction to the swirl around you.
👉 Small practice: What do I believe I am called to steward well in this season?
When OWN and MISSION come together this is what happens:
→ You move from delay to action.
→ You move from shame to clarity.
→ You move from hiding to visible faithful leadership.
→ You move from striving to Spirit-led stewardship.
And when obstacles come — you remember: You are Unstoppable. Not because you never feel resistance — but because you know Who sent you."Being confident of this: He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion." (Philippians 1:6 NIV).
👉 Small practice: Where am I tempted to shrink back — and what is one small faithful step I can take today?
Owning your mission is not about adding pressure. It is about walking with faithful courage — one decision at a time. You are not called to be perfect. You are called to show up, steward well, and trust that God is moving through what you offer. This is Everyday Courage. This is what makes you Everyday Unstoppable.
